8 Day Casablanca & Erg Chigaga Desert Tour

Casablanca

This private tour is suited to adventurous travellers who would rather visit just some of the iconic historical visitor sights associated with Morocco. It offers you focused time in the Imperial city of Marrakech prior to embarking on a road trip of discovery into the natural beauty of a historically authentic Desert region and rural Moroccan communities of the South

Description

This is a Desert Inclusive Tour and can be customised should you wish to extend your stay. Our compact and relaxed one week ‘Timbuktu Trading Route’ offers you a more focused insight into the natural landscapes and rural communities of the pre-Saharan and Sahara region of the South rather than the cities of Morocco.

It offers you more ‘off the beaten track’ and off-road experiences in our home regions, adventure in the Sahara and Desert camp.

You visit iconic sites in Casablanca and Marrakech before embarking on a spectacular road trip into the less commercialised dune regions of Morocco that see fewer overseas visitor.

Journey through the spectacular Kasbah and palm-lined Draa Valley and our hometown of Zagora on route to the towering dunes of Chigaga, travelling the same historical camel caravan trading route that once traversed the Moroccan Sahara back and forth from Mali and Timbuktu.

Atmospheric accommodations, uniquely Moroccan landscapes, iconic Saharan sites with time to experience the Desert await you on this considered tour.
