3 Day Marrakech, Skoura Oasis & Erg Chebbi Desert Tour

3 Day Marrakech, Skoura Oasis & Erg Chebbi Desert Tour

This private tour is suited to active travellers who are short on time and determined not to leave Morocco without embarking on a Desert Tour and therefore happy to whoosh in and out of the Sahara. It offers you a camel experience in a unique village location and an overnight stay in the most accessible of the larger dune sets including a camel trek and optional informal sandboarding.

This is a Desert Inclusive Tour and can be customised should you wish to extend your tour or journey on to the Imperial city of Fes.  It is ideally suited if you wish to combine your own planned visit to Morocco with an organised Desert Tour departing from your accommodation Marrakech and returning to your accommodation either Marrakech or Fes. Please note the Chebbi Dunes and Desert Camps can become very busy during peak Spring, Autumn and Winter holiday periods.

Our fast-paced ‘Flying Carpet To The Desert’ provides anyone short on time with the opportunity to embark on a road trip covering many Moroccan kilometres into the Sahara. That said, in our opinion and experience the more time you can devote to this road trip the better.

The journey from Marrakech in addition to the Dades Valley and Erg Chebbi Saharan region is so impressive and so full of unique sites and experiences, it merits a slower paced journey to be able to really experience the magical qualities of the changing landscape and the uniqueness of the Sahara.

You traverse the impressive and dramatic High Atlas Mountains & iconic Tichka Pass to Skoura Palm Oases and journey along the Kasbah lined Dades Valley to Todra Gorge before arriving at the Saharan village of Merzouga for an overnight stay at one of Erg Chebbi’s Desert Camps, inclusive of good-humoured Saharan hospitality, short camel treks and optional informal sandboarding at the base of the towing dune sets.

Atmospheric accommodations, dramatic High Atlas Mountainscapes, visits to iconic Kasbahs, camel rides in two differing locations, the mighty Todra Gorge and fun in one of the most unique locations in the world, the Sahara, await you on this considered tour.
